• Usage data (features accessed, interaction patterns, session duration)

• Personalize your AI coaching experience based on your goals, history, and preferences
• Enable communication between you and your assigned trainer
• Surface relevant fitness insights and safety alerts to your trainer
• Ensure safety by flagging messages that may indicate injury, medical concern, or mental health risk
• Maintain conversation context and coaching memory across sessions
• Send service-related communications (account notifications, support responses)
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• Your Trainer: Conversation summaries, flagged messages, and relevant coaching insights are shared with your assigned personal trainer as part of the Service.
• Service Providers: We work with third-party providers (including cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, and database services) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the safety of any person.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.

4. AI and Large Language Models

MODE uses AI systems, including large language models provided by third-party AI providers, to generate coaching responses. Your conversation content may be processed by these systems. We use commercially reasonable measures to prevent your data from being used to train third-party AI models.

AI-generated coaching content is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or mental health advice. If you have concerns about your health, please consult a qualified professional.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@modefit.ai. We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable law.

6. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and row-level database security. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
